Cute little place!! The staff was super nice! Did great at keeping our coffee refilled. Food was soooo good!!! Love their gravy! Lots of parking. Definitely would eat here again! I had the wonder hash browns with a side of bacon. Bacon was very thick!! The hash browns... yum!!! I had the 1/2 order & still took some home!
My first visit at this busy strip mall location. Arrived with a buddy at 0830 on a Thursday. Sat at the 6 top table as it was the only one available. Perused the menu and decided on the loaded scramble. Veggies and meat! I was served with hash browns and an English muffin. The first cup of decaf coffee was barely warm but a new cup arrived and was hot as were refills. The 3 egg scramble was hot and very flavorful. The hash browns crispy but had a lot of oil that over powered the potatoes. Service was good. The place was mostly filled during our 90 minutes we weee there. My buddy had a simple cheese's omelette and hash browns with a biscuit. He didn't rave about it. We may come back for their namesake Burgers in the future
We went for breakfast and it was really good. It is a Chicago sports themed restaurant and I'm a Chicago Bears fan! I loved sitting and seeing a pic of Water Payton. He was a great man and football player. I had the eggs Benedict, but the eggs were a little over cooked, but the hollandaise sauce was so very good. I will order it again next time. My grandson ordered the breakfast burrito and it was delicious as well. When you're in Battleground, I would recommend checking this place out. Da Bears!
Service was great. Small mom and pop shop. Food came out pretty fast and they did a lettuce wrap on my burger. I would come back to try breakfast. I had dinner with a relative recently. The onion rings were good. I was having a cheat meal and it hit the spot/expectations. The only thing I will knock is I forgot to ask for a med/med-rare burger. I wasn't asked a preference either. This sucker was well done. It was still good but would have been way better not over cooked. So voice how you want your burger cooked or it will be well done by default which is blasphemy IMO. Lol
Wish I took pictures, but I got the Chicago pepper burger with fries and an iced tea. Server was on top of refilling my ice tea, burger tasted fresh and home made and the fries were to die for. I will absolutely be going back. Ambiance was definitely diner, top 40 music on, but not loud, people of all ages were dining which shows they meet numerous palates!
